1. General

(A) The expression “the Company” shall mean Ard Design.
(B) The expression “the Goods" shall mean any printing, copying, stationery or artwork undertaken by or the subject of any order placed with the company.

2. Price

The price for the goods shall be the ruling in the Company’s current price list. The Company’s prices are subject to revision without notice and the contract is entered into on the understanding that it will be executed at the prices ruling at the order date.

3. Printing & Artwork

(A) A Print Specification Sheet. The company will print from the instructions contained on the sheet. It is the responsibility to ensure that the right instructions have been entered on the sheet. Printed work will only be carried out on receipt of a signature on the print specification sheet. Whilst every care is taken with the customer’s originals for copying, printing, scanning etc, the Company cannot be held liable for any loss or damage.

(B) Artwork and Typesetting. Customers must check any artwork or typesetting carried out by the Company. The Company cannot be held responsible for any errors however caused once the customers have checked and given instructions for work to be undertaken.

4. Dispatch & Delivery

(A) At times quoted by the Company for the completion or dispatch of the Goods are given and intended as an estimated only and are not to be the essence of the contract. The Company shall not be liable in any way in respect of the late dispatch or delivery however caused.

(B) The Company does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to Goods supplied by or posted to the customer.

5. Terms of Payment

Payment for the Goods shall be made in full in cash, cheque, debit or credit card (with a valid bankers card), when ordered or invoiced. All orders purchased online must be paid in full when prompted. Customers who have arranged monthly credit facilities with the Company must pay accounts within 30 days of pervious month. Failure to do so makes the buyer liable for all costs including Court costs and legal fees incurred in the collection of such outstanding balances. The Company reserves the right to charge the Interest at the current rate of 5% or part thereof on all overdue payments until final settlement.

6. Force Majeure

Should delivery of any of the Goods be prevented or delayed by reason of any strike, war, fire, accident to or breakdown of machinery, delay in delivery or materials by third parties, act of god, government action, or any cause whatsoever outside the control of the seller, the seller shall not be responsible. In an event the seller shall not be liable in any way for loss or damage arising directly or indirectly in consequences of any such happenings.

7. Governing Law

The contract between the buyer and the seller shall in all repects be governed by English law and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
